This tape is fabulous.. I actually had bought sliding metal baskets for all my kitchen cabinets to organize my pots and pans and Tupperware and all that kind of stuff.. and it turned out that the screws would not penetrate through the cabinet wood..not wood like most kitchen cabinets..and so I came up with the idea to buy this tape since could not screw shelves into cabinet.. this 2 sided strong tape was incredible.. its strong...it works.
I use this tape for a variety of projects, but recently it was for hanging outdoor Christmas lights. I just had new vinyl siding put on my house and refused to put holes in it.
I love this tape! I was expecting to have to buy adhesive hooks for a lot of Christmas decorations because they're temporary and I didn't want to punch holes in the walls/woodwork. Using the adhesive hooks would have been difficult--figuring out exact spacing, etc. Not necessary with the tape.
I am a teacher. My classroom has cinder block walls. This surface is typically EXTREMELY hard to get any adhesive to stick to for longer than a few days ... or at best ... a few weeks.
I simply cut a small piece of the tape and divided it into four - almost - squares. Attached to the back of the art, pulled the protective coat, lined up with a level and stuck them to the wall.
After several failed attempts with Command strips of different types, I decided to give this a try. This tape has amazing staying power! Be sure to get your positioning right on the first try because this stuff is incredibly difficult to remove! If you need to remove it like I did, applying heat with a hair dryer will make it possible, but still very tedious.
This tape is STRONG! I know it says you can wash and reuse it, but it's SO strong I'm not sure how anyone gets it off once it's on! I used it to mount ceramic planters to my RV walls (pictured) and color me impressed, because these guys aren't going anywhere. I will buy more of this stuff for sure.
