I bought this for my mom and dad because they do not have air-conditioning and it only lasted for four weeks and then stopped working. We had this product before and it lasted for two summers so possibly this one was just faulty. But for the weeks they had it, it worked perfectly for them

For its small size the impact is felt. Cools within ten minutes and lasts long enough to chill the room and some time after. Lights are adjustable and easy to use. Good value.

Works great here in Texas where the bedroom is very hot.

Love this portable air conditioner. I put ice cold water, and freeze the filter. Close all the blinds and turn on all the fans, and it feels great.

The Arctic Air I received works exactly as described.

NOT AN AIR CONDITIONER! But a little evaporative cooler. My boyfriend can’t have an AC because there are no windows appropriate to vent a traditional AC out of. He freezes the filter before use and puts ice cubes in with the water in the water tray. Combined with a fan it makes his room much more comfortable.

I'm being serious this thing rocks! Granted it's on my nightstand blowing directly on me. Put some crushed ice in with the water and you'll have to turn this down. THIS WILL NOT COOL A ROOM! It's for a desk or a nightstand, but it works great.

So, aside from the fan being a little loud, I find it to work very well for my needs

Very simple concept that just works. Very glad that I bought it before they sold out. Yes,I can keep comfortably cool without having the main ac on running up the bill. Would recommend it.
